How is SHR IPL Hair Removal better than general IPL?
SHR IPL has been improved from old IPL technology by being able to go deep down at 650 nm - 1200 nm, destroying hair root and hair growth cells, leading to slower hair growth and thinner hair until they disappear. Procedures of SHR IPL Hair Removal
Before each shot of SHR IPL, the SHR IPL will cool down the treatment area to prevent irritation before transmitting the energy to hair roots. Each shot will takes roughly 1 second.
How does it feel during SHR IPL procedure?
During energy transmission, you will feel the heat for a shot while, then replaced by coolness. Before, during and post energy transmission, our staff will adjust the energy to match your comfort level.
How long does it take to see the result fo SHR IPL?
Right after SHR IPL treatment, the hair will mostly fall immediately; however, hair in some body parts might take a couple of days to fall. New hair grown will be gradually thinning. It is recommended that the session should be repeated every 2 weeks for the first 3-4 times. Then the gap can be once a month. For best result, it is recommended that sessions are done continuously for best results. After 6-8 times, hair will rarely grow. (Depends on each person.)
After your SHR IPL session, you can live your life normally; however, it is recommended to avoid using cosmetics, such as lotion, deodorant, and perfume, on the treatment area for 24 hours to avoid irritation. For those who may have redness or feeling itchy in the treatment area, it is recommended to lightly apply steroid infused cream twice a day, and these will be gone within a few days.
